Recap: Linville Hill vs. Chester Charter Scholars Academy Sabers
Linville Hill stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They put the hurt on Chester Charter Scholars Academy with a sharp 61-40 win. The victory was nothing new for Linville Hill as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Linville Hill was led to victory by Derian Peterseim and Stephen Smucker. Peterseim scored 20 points along with three steals and two blocks, while Smucker dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Smucker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerome Stoltzfus, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Linville Hill pushed their record up to 17-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Chester Charter Scholars Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Linville Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester Charter Scholars Academy, they will be playing at home against MOT Charter at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Chester Charter Scholars Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 405th in Pennsylvania, while MOT Charter is ranked 23rd in Delaware).
