Basketball Recap: Chiefland Indians vs. Hilliard Red Flashes
Chiefland lost against Hilliard back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chiefland Indians took a blow against the Hilliard Red Flashes, falling 71-32. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Red Flashes are ranked 155th).
Ta'Veon Dunbar was his usual excellent self, going 12 for 18 on his way to 32 points and four steals for Hilliard. The matchup was Dunbar's third in a row with at least ten points. Cj Hall was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
