Soccer Recap: Harrison Central Takes a Loss

Harrison Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Steubenville Big Red. While losing is never fun, Harrison Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Steubenville are ranked 209th).

Harrison Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Steubenville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Harrison Central will be taking part in a tournament against Union Local at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Steubenville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against John Glenn on the 14th.
