Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jacksonville). They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 69-41 victory over the Comer Catamounts. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

It was another big night for Amaree Burries, who went 8 of 12 en route to 24 points. Another player making a difference was LaMarion Williams, who posted ten points.

With the victory, Jacksonville broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Comer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jacksonville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. Jacksonville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
