Bishop Rosecrans piles up the points against Fairfield Christian Academy

The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Fairfield Christian Academy 85-40 at home. The result was nothing new for Bishop Rosecrans, who have now won five games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Grady Labishak was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 54 points and 4 assists. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Bishop Rosecrans' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Bernath, who scored nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Loss or not, Fairfield Christian Academy got some senior leadership from JP Vance who scored 14 points and Sam Workman who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Workman scored a full 32.5% of Fairfield Christian Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

The victory was the third in a row for Bishop Rosecrans, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Bishop Rosecrans will square off against Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Millersport at 6:00 p.m.
