Baseball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

Roy was the 10-8 winner over Bonneville when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Roy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Roy has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Bonneville, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-13.

While Roy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
