Volleyball Recap: Ardmore's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Priceville, Ardmore was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Plainview Bears. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Ardmore not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Plainview between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20.

Ardmore's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Plainview, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-7.

Ardmore has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Madison Academy on the 18th. As for Plainview, they will host Madison County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
