Volleyball Recap: Novato Comes Up Short

Novato was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Terra Linda Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Novato was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Terra Linda can attribute much of their success to Logan Miles, who had 30 assists. Miles is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 24 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Novato's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Terra Linda, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Novato does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Terra Linda, they will be playing at home against San Rafael at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
