Soccer Game Preview: Fairview vs. Lawson

The Fairview Yellowjackets will square off against the Lawson Lightning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fairview is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Creek Wood last Friday. The Yellowjackets and the Red Hawks finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Fairview's goal came courtesy of Noah Simmons, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Lawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Sycamore. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Lawson couldn't quite close it out.

Lawson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. Fairview's draw makes their record 2-3-1 this season.
