            After both having extra time off, the Summit Christian Academy Eagles and the South Wake Sabres will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another  at 9:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It was a Battle of the Birds when  Summit Christian Academy duked it out with Grove Christian School two weeks ago. Summit Christian Academy was  outmatched by Grove Christian School and fell  77-40.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Courtland Reiter, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 14 points and nine  boards.  Benjamin Reed also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  assist of the season.
Meanwhile,  after a string of eight wins, South Wake's good fortune finally ran out  last Friday. They lost  72-52 to Chatham HomeSchool.
 Like Summit Christian Academy, South Wake lost despite seeing results from several players.  Noah Wright led the charge by  putting up 15  points and six  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Cannon Cooper, who  shot 45% from the field on his way to 14 points and six  boards.
 South Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Summit Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record  this season.
 Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Summit Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 33.8  rebounds per game. However, it's not like South Wake struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 32.5  boards.
