Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 65-58 to the Franklin Quakers. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Quakers earlier this season, when they won 84-42.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ida B. Wells the next time they take the court. Lincoln will host Ida B. Wells at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Franklin will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
