Marbury had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-13 to the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs.
Arthur McQueen went supernova for Stanhope Elmore, rushing for 290 yards while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. McQueen really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
Marbury will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bayside Academy at 7:00 p.m. Marbury is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season. As for Stanhope Elmore, they will welcome Prattville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
