Basketball Recap: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Perkins Pirates

Sandusky was the 80-63 winner over Perkins when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sandusky Blue Streaks were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 48-47 to the Perkins Pirates. The Blue Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sandusky lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Maekayla Rameau, who posted 14 points along with eight assists and eight steals. Rameau is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ra'Kiya Collier, who earned eight points in addition to 11 boards and three steals.
