League recap: Berlin receives boost in rankings after winning week

Berlin used a 2-0 record over the past week to move from 89 to 59 in the Connecticut state rankings.
Kevin Hall was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .375 average with two RBIs.
Maloney compiled a record of 2-0 in that time.
The Spartans' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only eight hits and three walks, both of which led the league. Maloney's pitchers have been charged with only 102 hits and have struck out 130 batters.
Mike Bonaiuto is tops on the staff with 67 Ks.
