Volleyball Recap: Nolensville Takes Down Ranked River Ridge

Nolensville is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of River Ridge. Nolensville came out on top against River Ridge by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Nolensville.

Their offense was headlined by Kamryn Knox and Taylor Collins, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Ethridge and her 15 assists.

When it comes to explaining why River Ridge lost, don't look at Olivia Philpot. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two aces.

Nolensville's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for River Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

Nolensville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Bob Jones on the 6th. As for River Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Creekview on the 6th.
