Basketball Recap: Inglewood Falls Short of Windward in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Inglewood can now relate to. They fell just short of the Windward Wildcats by a score of 71-69 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Inglewood lost, don't look at Jason Crowe Jr. Despite the final result, he posted 29 points and seven assists. The matchup was Crowe Jr's 27th in a row with at least 18 points. Parker Jefferson was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Inglewood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
