Volleyball Recap: New Hope Christian Comes Up Short

New Hope Christian lost against Cornerstone Family back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Phoenix came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Hope Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

New Hope Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cornerstone Family, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Hope Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Blue Ridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cornerstone Family will square off against rival Whitefield Academy on Tuesday.
