Volleyball Recap: Pelion Comes Up Short

Pelion saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chesterfield Golden Rams.

Alexia Hansen paced Pelion's offense, picking up four kills. Hansen got some help from Hayley Maxwell and her four assists.

Pelion has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Chesterfield, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pelion will venture away from home to square off against Strom Thurmond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chesterfield, they will challenge Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
