Football Recap: North Creek Takes a Loss

North Creek extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They lost 49-25 to the Woodinville Falcons. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Despite the loss, North Creek still got an impressive performance from Carson Heer, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 45 receiving yards.

As for Woodinville, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cadan Van De Wege went supernova, throwing for 291 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). A healthy portion of Van De Wege's aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Drew Sorensen, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

As of now, neither North Creek nor Woodinville have any future games scheduled.
