Basketball Recap: Olathe Northwest Falls Short Against Ranked Shawnee Mission South

On Friday, Olathe Northwest faced Shawnee Mission South in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Olathe Northwest Ravens took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shawnee Mission South Raiders. The game marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Olathe Northwest lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gavin Popik, who posted 14 points. Mason Schlittenhard also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
