Football Recap: Foundation Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Noah Mcmullen and Braydon Marks

The Foundation Academy Lions ended up a good deal behind the Jupiter Christian Eagles on Friday and lost 47-28.

Foundation Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braydon Marks, who threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns, and Noah McMullen, who picked up 83 receiving yards and one score. McMullen's longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards.

Jupiter Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dorian Fauntleroy, who threw for 294 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and one score on only seven carries. Randolph Jr Wilkerson was another key player, rushing for 174 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Foundation Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jupiter Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Foundation Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eustis at 7:00 p.m. As for Jupiter Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.75 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
