Recap: Faith Christian Knights vs. Riverpointe Christian Academy Wolves
The Faith Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 55-27 defeat at the hands of Riverpointe Christian Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Faith Christian of the 54-22 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Riverpointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kymani Robinson led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robinson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Dukes Jr, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Faith Christian dropped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Riverpointe Christian Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Faith Christian and the Raiders will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (Holly Hill Academy is ranked 264th, while the Knights are ranked 271st). As for Riverpointe Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
