Basketball Game Preview: Mineral Ridge Rams vs. South Range Raiders

Mineral Ridge hasn't had much luck against South Range recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mineral Ridge Rams will look to defend their home court against the South Range Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Mineral Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully South Range likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Mineral Ridge humbled Jackson-Milton with a 65-24 victory. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Bluejays are ranked 590th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Range, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-37 win over McKinley on Monday.

South Range pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Mineral Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
