Basketball Game Preview: East Aces vs. South Titans

The East Aces will head out to square off against the South Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

East took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past North, posting a 74-19 victory. The Aces have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 36 points or more this season.

South hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-51 W against Southeast.

East has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. South's win bumped their record up to 7-11-1.

East strolled past South when the teams last played back in January by a score of 55-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for East since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
