Basketball Recap: Crooksville Comes Up Short

Crooksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-26 defeat at the hands of the New Lexington Panthers. The Ceramics were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.

Bentley Hanson was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points for New Lexington.

Crooksville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for New Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Crooksville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-36 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 24th. New Lexington has also already played their next game, a 67-47 loss against John Glenn on the 24th.
