St. George came into Wednesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let the Harding Academy Lions get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. George's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Harding Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. George's will take on First Assembly Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Gryphons are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Harding Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Northpoint Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
