Catholic Central waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Grandville Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Catholic Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13.

Catholic Central can attribute much of their success to Cara Wolf, who had 16 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Wolf has posted since back in October of 2024.

Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Grandville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Catholic Central has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against West Ottawa on the 2nd. As for Grandville, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Reeths-Puffer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
