Basketball Recap: Kodiak Comes Up Short

Kodiak lost against Palmer on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kodiak Bears took a hard 40-21 fall against the Palmer Moose. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Palmer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

Kodiak and Palmer could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alaska Rankings. Kodiak (ranked 85th) will meet Colony (ranked second) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Palmer will square off against Wasilla at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 47 places (48 vs. 1).
