Baseball Recap: Wilmot Comes Up Short

Wilmot lost against Waterford back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 7-2 to the Wolverines. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmot saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Haley, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Wilmot's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Waterford, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Wilmot will challenge Kenosha Bradford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Waterford will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' game: after the Panthers face off against the Red Devils, they'll take on Waterford again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
