Basketball Recap: Cienega Falls Short of Carl Hayden Community in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cienega couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Carl Hayden Community Falcons 75-69.

Cienega lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jackson Moore, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Marcos Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

Cienega's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-7. As for Carl Hayden Community, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.
