Baseball Recap: MISL CTX Gets the Win

MISL CTX came out on top against New Braunfels Thunder on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Homeschool 6-4.

Cadyn Baldenegro was excellent, getting on base in three of his six plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

MISL CTX's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for New Braunfels Thunder, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

MISL CTX wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-2 victory against Hill Country Christian on the 21st. As for New Braunfels Thunder, they will head out on the road to face off against Bracken Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
