Softball Recap: Twin Cedars Takes a Loss

The Twin Cedars Sabers lost 12-2 to the Newton Cardinals on Saturday. The Sabers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twin Cedars' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Newton, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Twin Cedars will head out on the road to challenge Moravia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newton, they will face off against Dallas Center-Grimes at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
