Soccer Recap: The Hawbridge School Comes Up Short

The Herons fell 2-0 to the Royals. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, The Hawbridge School's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The Hawbridge School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Burlington Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Hawbridge School will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forsyth Home Educators at 4:15 p.m. on October 2. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they will face off against Caldwell Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
