Volleyball Recap: Maddy Henderson and Kenzly Foote Secure Win for Thompson

Thompson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Robertsdale Golden Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Leading Thompson to victory were Kenzly Foote and Maddy Henderson. Foote had five digs and four aces, while Henderson hit 85.7% for six kills and 11 assists and six digs. That's the most aces Foote has posted over her last eight matchups.

Thompson's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Robertsdale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-21 record.

Coincidentally, Thompson and Robertsdale will both be playing Glenwood the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Gators at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
