Basketball Game Preview: Cleburne Yellowjackets vs. Seguin Cougars

The Cleburne Yellowjackets will venture away from home to challenge the Seguin Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Cleburne will head out to face Seguin after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Cleburne took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mansfield Summit. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Jaguars are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, Seguin took a blow against Mansfield Timberview on Tuesday, falling 59-32.

Cleburne's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Seguin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
