Soccer Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hesperia's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apple Valley Sun Devils on Thursday.

Hesperia has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-4 record this season. As for Apple Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8-4.

Hesperia will head out to face off against Sultana at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sultana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. Apple Valley has already played their next match (against Burroughs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
