It was a proper cat-fight when Benson faced off against Morenci on Wednesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

While Benson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 26-24.

Hazel Chapman paced Benson's offense, picking up nine kills. Chapman got some help from Halle Hatch and her 16 assists. Player #24 controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Benson's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Morenci, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Benson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Tombstone on the 24th. As for Morenci, they will welcome Duncan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildkats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.
