After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newton, Trinity was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 55-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Anderson-Shiro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Trinity will face off against New Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will challenge Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Owls will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.78 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
