Dundee-Crown and Hampshire are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Chargers will head out on the road to take on the Whip-Purs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dundee-Crown is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Dundee-Crown blew Harvard out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Harvard got their revenge. The Chargers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Chargers have suffered since April 23rd.

Chloe Morrison was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dundee-Crown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie Sheldon, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Hampshire's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Maine West by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Whip-Purs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dundee-Crown's record now sits at 8-18. As for Hampshire, their record is now 18-9.

Dundee-Crown might still be hurting after the 16-9 defeat they got from Hampshire when the teams last played back in April. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
