Volleyball Game Preview: Alpena Wildcats vs. Petoskey Northmen + How To Watch

Alpena hasn't had much luck against Petoskey recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Northmen at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Alpena came up short against Cadillac on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Alpena was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Petoskey suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Traverse City Central.

Petoskey was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Traverse City Central work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 29-27, 25-21.

Petoskey's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14-1. As for Alpena, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14-2.

Alpena couldn't quite get it done against Petoskey in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
