University is 1-9 against Fairfax since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

University is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They were dealt a 93-35 defeat at the hands of Westchester. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-15.

University's loss came about despite a quality game from Jonah Hansen, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Fairfax unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Venice.

University now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Fairfax, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-11.
