Baseball Recap: LaSalle-Peru Comes Up Short

LaSalle-Peru was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Kaneland Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Monday.

LaSalle-Peru's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Kaneland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

While LaSalle-Peru had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
