Softball Recap: North Star Comes Up Short

North Star lost against Southern Fulton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 19-2 to the Indians. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Star saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Southern Fulton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Star will head out to square off against Windber at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southern Fulton, they will venture away from home to face off against Forbes Road at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Fulton is facing Forbes Road at the right time seeing as Forbes Road is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
