Basketball Recap: Mccomb Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

McComb and Kalida squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but McComb had to settle for second. They took a hard 58-40 fall against the Kalida Wildcats.

Kalida found their leader in sophomore Addilyn Huber, who went 6-for-10 en route to 16 points and three steals. Huber has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Meredith Bockrath was another key player, putting up 12 points.

McComb's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Kalida, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

McComb does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kalida, they will face off against Calvert at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Calvert's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
