Graham had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Galax Maroon Tide an 8-0 shutout. Considering Graham have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Graham's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those six matches. As for Galax, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10-1.

Coming up, Graham will host Richlands at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galax, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Chiswell at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
