Soccer Game Preview: Ridgeline vs. Lewis & Clark

Ridgeline has won three straight games at home, while Lewis & Clark has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Falcons will welcome the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Ridgeline beat Mead 3-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lewis & Clark faced off against Mt. Spokane on Wednesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. Given Lewis & Clark's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Mt. Spokane are ranked 71st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lewis & Clark has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 12-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those nine contests. As for Ridgeline, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Everything went Ridgeline's way against Lewis & Clark in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Ridgeline made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
