The Huskies fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Centennial came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Ramona are ranked 526th).

Meanwhile, Desert Mirage unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Wednesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Beaumont an easy 7-4 win.

Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 8-2-2. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-1.
