Basketball Recap: Plattsburg Takes a Loss

Plattsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Wellington-Napoleon. Plattsburg was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Wellington-Napoleon earlier this season, when they won 49-45.

Wellington-Napoleon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jared Raymond, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. What's more, Raymond posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Mefferd, who scored ten points and three steals.

Plattsburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Wellington-Napoleon, their record is now 9-17.

As of now, neither Plattsburg nor Wellington-Napoleon have any future games scheduled.
