Basketball Recap: Gamble Montessori Falls Despite Big Games from Jayden Mcneill and Ta?Ron Patterson

Gamble Montessori has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 72-47 to the Oyler MAD Hatters on Tuesday. The Gators were down 53-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Ta?Ron Patterson and Jayden McNeill certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Patterson went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and seven steals, while McNeill went 8 for 18 on his way to 19 points. Patterson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of James Horton, who posted ten points and three steals.

Gamble Montessori's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Oyler, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Gamble Montessori has already played their next match, an 80-48 defeat against Clark Montessori on the 25th. As for Oyler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-51 win against Cincinnati College Prep Academy on the 24th.
