Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Maricopa Rams

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flowing Wells can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Maricopa Rams on Tuesday. The Caballeros just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Flowing Wells was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Maricopa work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 21-25, 25-14.

Daniel Coronado paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up 31 kills. Coronado got some help from Chris Anaya-Ashe and his 47 assists. Finally, O'Shay Walker kept Flowing Wells' defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 15-20. As for Maricopa, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.
